Impact of COVID-19 outbreak on European economies
ALMA Sistemi coordinated the EYE project, using Copernicus data, AI and machine learning to monitor the economic impact of COVID-19 across Europe. This innovative platform provided real-time insights for public authorities and economic operators.
ALMA awarded new industrial contract
In partnership with Elital Srl, ALMA Sistemi was selected by ESA to deliver Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for the MicroWave Sounder instrument. This contract strengthens ALMA’s role in satellite integration and engineering alongside Airbus Defence & Space.
ALMA coordinated three international collaborations
ALMA Sistemi played a leading role in three Horizon 2020 MSCA-RISE projects: IN-TIME, RESEARCH and STABLE, covering planetary exploration, cultural heritage monitoring and seismic risk assessment. These projects involved over 80 researchers worldwide, with ALMA as coordinator in two of them.
